Etirama is launching its new slitter and rewinder machine, model Etirama R4.
Etirama, which has been manufacturing servomotor slitter and rewinder machines for eight years and has around 200 units installed worldwide, recently introduced the new generation.
The new machine is multi-substrate, meaning it can work with self-adhesive substrates or flexible films, such as shrink labels and IML.
The machine, which is driven by a servomotor from the French brand Schneider, has a maximum substrate width of 430mm and a maximum speed of 200m/min, working with two rewinding shafts of different sizes.
The machine has an optional automatic inspection system.
The new model already has six units installed in Brazil, Chile and Colombia, with construction of 20 new machines planned for the first half of 2025.
